DIY: French Tips

I painted these myself. This is the result of Sally Hansen Nail Effects for three weeks straight to let my nails grow without being chewed. And now I don't chew them anymore.

I painted the tips white myself and put Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Platinum over top. It gives a pearl-y shimmer to the nails. My hubby loves it :)

I think they look especially awesome for my first time AND for being someone with shaky hands xD my left hand even looks okay and I'm left handed.

DIY Mani

I finally got some Sally Hansen Nail Strips. They were so awesome and so easy to use. I will definitely be buying them again. They've got some really cool patterns. I'm excited to buy a new set when this set comes off.

DIY: Coasters

So I made some coasters today. We planned on getting an IKEA wood coffee table (which we did get) and I worried about condensation so when we were perusing counters and such at the re-store (donated building supplies for renos, profits to Habitat for Humanity) we saw some awesome tiles and got some to make into coasters. Here's how to do it:

Materials:
  • tiles or some other water resistant tough material

  • glue gun

  • shelf liner (I used non adhesive), non skid bubbly kind

  • scissors

Process:
  1. cut square of shelf liner
  2. glue to tile
  3. have many jealous friends

Cheers! I can't wait to have friends over and show them off.
