Holiday Monday

Busy day today! I picked up 2 pairs of maternity pants for $10 total as well as 15 pairs of socks, 11 soft caps, 3 pairs of booties and 1 pair of shoes for $3 total.

baby's closet. we finally cleared out most of the random crap to make room for baby's stuff. we'll have closet doors within 2 weeks.

newborn gown I made today :) not such great sewing but it's functional and I followed a pattern.

OMFG!

So today I made my grandma's shirt to wear to announce to my aunt's family in California when she goes home on Monday. Isn't it cute?

Also... I went out for dinner at the food court with DH. I dragged him into the maternity store here (Thyme maternity) and showed him some of the clothes with the fake belly underneath. I left the store with 1 black pair of mat pants, 1 brown pair of mat pants and a POSSIBLE JOB!

I'm going to drop my resume off on Monday and talk to the manager again. I guess I was memorable enough from when I visited with my mom a few weeks ago. She remembered me and DH was bs-ing about how I should just get a job there since I'm always there (3rd time in like 2 weeks) and she said that they actually are looking for someone!

Thyme Maternity ( Reitmans corp) Offered 50% in thyme, and since it was maternity you got to pick another division of reitmans to have a 50% off discount in, so either Rietmans, Smart Set, Addition Elle, Pennigtons or RW. All of the other stores you didn't pick your 50% off in you got 30% off.( I think it was)

So freaking excited!

Because of the things bought today, I now have a 2nd $50 off coupon to use at the same store! So that's spend $200 get $100 off. So really I can get $200 worth of stuff for $100 now :)

I went shopping with my mom today and she bought me a maternity swimsuit (I swim weekly and will be pregnant through the summer) and another nice shirt! I bought two others on clearance for $14 each.

Maternity Clothes

So far I've spent about $35 on maternity clothes and I have:
- one pair full panel shorts
- one pair mid rise (uncomfy for now) jeans (bought for last pregnancy)
- two cream 3/4 sleeve shirts (one for my "Does this baby make me look fat?" announcement shirt)
- one white t-shirt
- one organic cotton maternity/nursing shirt (free from a blog giveaway)
- two 3/4 sleeve work shirts (one black/white patterned and the other brown/tan patterned)

My yoga pants will probably fit over/under the belly the whole pregnancy as well... lululemon ftw!

Remember how I posted this about the giveaway I won? Well because I got my BFP so soon after winning, I emailed the lady back and requested this set instead.

Isn't it adorable? I asked for an XL instead of a L because I didn't manage to lose more weight before getting pregnant. 

Here's hoping I've got a sticky bean inside me. I sure do feel different, that's for sure.
